Learning Practitioner. Storyteller. Mex-Texican.

Husband. Dog-dad. Entrepreneur. Author. Recovering perfectionist. I love people and experiences that encourage fun-filled self-discovery, authenticity, personal growth and leadership.
The main line: I was born in Kansas and grew up between the farmland of northeastern Missouri (Harrisonville) and the metropolis of central Mexico (Guadalajara). I moved to Colorado for college where I later helped grow what is now the largest Spanish-speaking church in the state. Afterward, I ran a successful experiment in entrepreneurship by starting, building and selling an independent auto dealership. Three years ago, I married my best friend Carolina and adopted Jack, our fur-ball-of-fire Shih Tzu. We started our family in Dallas, Texas, which has truly become home.
I have spent the last 15 years of my life studying ministry, business, and leadership and wrote Business Laws from Proverbs, a primer on values-based entrepreneurship. Today, our family foundation provides humanitarian aide and practical leadership tools that
have equipped thousands of leaders in twelve countries to date.
The bottom line: I believe you have to wade through emotional clutter and inner conflict on the way to clear leadership and personal vision, so enjoy the process. With cars as with life’s journeys, I believe it’s not the year; it’s the mileage. I know you only have one shot at a first impression; AND appearances can be deceiving, so look closer. With cars as with personalities, paint jobs don’t determine performance under the hood, so reserve judgment and don’t jump to conclusions. I think gratitude is a great way to multiply the good in life. I believe the discomfort of choosing personal growth and healing beats the inevitable pain of refusing to change. I think BBQ burnt ends and tacos
