David Lockwood is an entrepreneur, author, communicator, and lifelong learner. He is passionate about people and processes that promote leadership growth, innovative community engagement and transformation. During the 2008 recession, he built an independent automotive dealership and service center from scratch that grew to include interstate transport, recovery, and import/export. He successfully sold the business after nine years and millions in sales.
Today David consults executive leadership teams for corporations and NGOs helping them engage their values and grow through the development of healthy organizational culture. David speaks to international audiences in English and Spanish and is the author of Business Laws from Proverbs, a primer on leadership values.
David holds a Bachelor’s in Business Administration from Regis University, a Master’s in Theology from Liberty University, and a Master of Divinity from The King’s University. He holds a Certificate of Innovation and Critical Thinking from Duke University and is a John Maxwell certified coach, speaker, and trainer. He is a Chaplain Corps Officer and advisor to the United States Navy.
David and his wife Carolina currently reside in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. Together, they drafted the Lockwood Donis Foundation, a 501(c)3 non-profit dedicated to leadership development and sustainable social entrepreneurship projects in the Americas. To date, thousands of leaders in twelve countries have been trained in personal and professional growth.
